 This miniature boasts bright red metallic leaves, edged in black. The leaves and stalks are lined with small white hairs. A vigorous grower that stays under 8" in height. 
Begonias are forest floor dwellers where they recieve little to no direct light, & high humidity conditions. 
Prefers organically rich but well draining soil. Let soil dry out between watering to avoid rot and other fungal diseases. 
No pruning required. Can be pruned by pinching outer stems and growing tips for a bushier appearance. Let plant fill a pot before repotting. When repotting, only move plant up one pot size. This plant enjoys being crowded. Can be propagated easily with rhizome division and leaf cuttings.
Blooms late winter to early spring. White blooms rise on delicate stalks. Can be grown outdoors or indoors in hanging baskets and as ground cover. Temps: 50°-85° Can tolerate humidity conditions indoors, but will grow best in conditions of 40%-80% humidity. Excellent for patio and container gardens. Makes a lovely addition to any terrarium, vivarium, or moss garden with it's unique coloring. 

Miniature rhizomatous begonia. Small leaves 3-5in. Grows 7-10 in. tall, 8 in. wide.
