There are more than 30 different species of arrowhead plants!  With so much to choose from, there are a lot of variants with striking variegation. Arrowheads are part of Araceae family and are aroid plants.
Young arrowheads are great in terrarium and dish gardens, for their bushy and mounding growth habits. Their dark shiny leaves contrast against brightly colored plants. They can also provide depth and shade smaller growing plants. They will need regular pruning. 
At maturity, the arrowhead plant develops a vining habit; And is best placed in a hanging pot. But with most vining plants it can be also trained to climb a moss pole or trellis for support. 

Arrowhead Plant Care
Any regular potting soil specifically for houseplants will do. Syngonium podophyllum prefers acidic soil; a rich, well-draining soil does best. Plants enjoy being moist, but not soggy. Bright, indirect light.
Plants can suffer from sunburn, and will have white bleached or even dark spots.
